Understandings of the Article "Realms"

Teacher said in the article "Realms" (Essentials For Further Advancement) : "A wicked person is born of jealousy. Out of selfishness and anger he complains about unfairness towards himself. A benevolent person always has a heart of compassion. With no discontentment or hatred, he takes hardship as joy. An enlightened person has no attachments at all. He quietly observes the people of the world deluded by illusions."

Some time ago, I was very busy and my life was very rich. I was busy with clarifying the truth, and I felt that my compassion was coming out continually. It all seemed to go so well in regards to clarifying the truth. However, I didn't understand why I felt more and more bitter. I felt pity for ordinary people getting stuck in the illusion and not being able to get out it. I felt pity for fellow practitioners who didn't cherish the opportunity to cultivate more diligently. Realizing I was in this bitter state, I understood that I probably had some attachment, so I studied the Fa with a calm mind and looked inside. As I did this I discovered where my shortcomings were coming from. Primarily, I found myself lacking compassion for fellow practitioners, and that I should be doing things without any pursuit. It seemed that my attachments had been found, but it also seemed as if something was still missing, until one day, there was "compassion" flashing in my mind. Suddenly, I realized on a deeper level Teacher's words: "A benevolent person always has a heart of compassion." It's because with a heart of compassion, we are able to feel human beings' pain! Teacher understands this kind of pain, and therefore teaches us to "with no discontentment or hatred, take hardship as joy" in the Fa.

As I understood this Fa principle I felt that I had found the key to my problem. My mind became broader, and my tolerance level improved as well. I became more receptive and understanding toward other practitioners' views and approaches, which is all about different realms!

I came to an understanding that an enlightened person is at the realm of "no attachments at all." Therefore, in order to upgrade our levels, we must do Dafa related work with "no attachments." "Cultivation is one's own business, while the evolution of cultivation energy is done by one's Teacher." (Zhuan Falun) I firmly believe that everything is under Teacher's control. It is also my belief that we should not measure and compare outcomes with a human heart, but rather, do what Fa rectification requires us to do. By doing things with a pure heart, the Fa manifests its power, and people can be saved.

In addition, I also realized that this kind of "calmness" of an enlightened person is a realm. And with this, I deeply understand the benevolence and greatness of our Teacher. What he has done for the sentient beings, for us, is beyond any repayment.
