(Minghui.org) The 2023 Malaysia Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held at KSL Resort Hotel in Johor Bahru on November 12. Falun Dafa practitioners from all over Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Singapore participated in this annual gathering. Eighteen practitioners spoke at the conference, sharing how they followed the principles of Falun Dafa in their daily lives—at work, in their studies, and as they participated in truth-clarification projects.

During the eight-hour conference, everyone cherished the opportunity to work together and improve. The atmosphere, while peaceful and warm, seemed to be charged with a special energy. Some of the practitioners said that they were moved by the sincere sharing.
A Company Executive Shares His Experience
Mr. Xie Miaolong, a foreign company executive from Kuala Lumpur, spoke about saving sentient beings and promoting Dafa. He said that after he first learned Falun Dafa in Shanghai in 2008 and read Zhuan Falun, he realized that “this is a heavenly book that truly guides people to a high level.” When studying the Fa, he said, “I felt that Master was always there watching over me.”
Not long after he started practicing Dafa, he began to clarify the truth to help save sentient beings. He downloaded information from the Minghui website, made his own materials, and distributed them to different communities after work. His only intention was “to let as many Chinese people as possible know the truth and awaken their consciences, so that they will not miss out on Dafa, for which they have been waiting for thousands of years.”
He said that later, because he “neglected to send forth righteous thoughts, the evil factors took advantage of me. Once when I was distributing materials in the basement of a shopping mall, I was noticed by the security guard monitoring the CCTV. More than a dozen security guards surrounded me. I was taken to the local police station for investigation.
“I tried my best to suppress my ordinary human thoughts and started to send forth righteous thoughts. I realized that I didn’t pay much attention to studying the Fa and had developed a tendency to do things and show off. I just wanted to distribute the truth-clarification materials I’d brought and return home as soon as possible. I felt that the more I distributed, the better—I was doing Dafa work like an everyday person.”
While he was detained, he realized that he had to let go of his yearning for a life of ordinary comfort and that Master determined his fate. He then completely negated the old forces’ existence and arrangement.
“When my thinking changed, the situation changed for the better. I was told to leave China. I understood that Master had been protecting me, and I also saw that the police officers who handled the case also had a kind side. They were manipulated by evil factors and were also victims. I sincerely hope that one day they will awaken and be saved,” he said.
When Mr. Xie returned to Malaysia in June 2018, he had the idea to set up an information site. He happened to see an ideal place in the downtown area where there were many Chinese tourists. He clarified the truth to passersby, advised people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, demonstrated the exercises, and collected signatures protesting the CCP’s living organ harvesting. He felt that “as soon as my righteous thoughts come forth, Master will give me blessings.”
Amazing Experience of an 11-Year-Old Practitioner
Zixiu, a Dafa disciple from Penang, is 11 years old. He learned Falun Dafa from his parents when he was a child. In his sharing, he said that if the parents of a young Dafa practitioner follow the Fa, the child’s character will always improve based on the Fa, and miracles will occur in his school work and his life. The Master will also show him scenes in other dimension to encourage him to improve.
He said, “I was born prematurely and had to live in an incubator. I was finally discharged from the hospital under Master’s protection. But when I was less than a year old, I was diagnosed with a herniated small intestine. After an acute relapse, I was hospitalized and had to have surgery. Because the anesthesia was too strong, I didn’t wake up for a long time. My mother was very worried. According to my mother, she later reminded herself that she was Falun Dafa practitioner. She let go of her attachments and let nature take its course. After that, I gradually woke up.”
He also shared about some of the phenomena mentioned in Zhuan Falun, such as the opening of the Third Eye that he experienced while studying the Fa. He also saw magical scenes in other dimensions, including deities wearing golden armor, a Buddha sitting next to him, and other divine beings. He said he saw a deity above each practitioner when they read the Fa in group study, and countless beings around them watching and listening. He saw countless layers of beings above the practitioners who were also studying the Fa. It was just like the murals in Western churches that show layers of clouds with a hollow center. Once he saw Master sitting in the center of the Fa study venue, and he also felt Master’s larger law body that was as big as the entire hotel area. He saw that the entire hotel area was also illuminated in red. Above that were countless layers of beings studying the Fa at the same time, and in the middle there were angels scattering flowers. All these things encourage us to be diligent together, including young Dafa disciples who must be more diligent.
Perseverance and Belief
Youshan, who immigrated to Malaysia before the COVID pandemic, shared his experience of cultivating forbearance while maintaining a group practice site and an information site. He said that persistence and belief are important.
“I had been practicing the exercises at home for more than two years, and I didn’t want to change that,” he said. “One day I happened to see group practice sites around the world on Minghui.org, and I realized that doing the exercises outdoors together is also a way to spread Dafa. So, my fellow practitioners and I set up an outdoor practice site. However, not many practitioners went.
“When there were only two of us, we thought about canceling it. But I heard from fellow practitioners that it was for the purpose of promoting Dafa. We must persevere, even if only one ordinary person sees us. Later, fellow practitioners gradually joined in. Within half a year, Udumbara flowers bloomed at the practice site at least twice. Master was encouraging us. Perseverance is right. Later, I sat in the full lotus position for up to 90 minutes.”
After the pandemic, Malaysia opened its borders and tourists started to return. Youshan said that it was urgent to go out to save sentient beings. He went to a scenic spot, but it had only opened recently, so there were relatively few tourists and also relatively few participating practitioners.
“I just thought that it is not easy to open a truth-clarification site,” he said. “The display boards and materials need to be moved, placed, and prepared, and the exercises must be demonstrated. Even when no one shows up, I have to go. With this thought, I have maintained the site for a year and a half so far,” he said.
He continues to gain confidence from people’s understanding and support. “Once I was clarifying the truth to a young man. When I talked about the CCP’s organ harvesting from living people, he kept remarking on how terrible it was. What I saw in his eyes was the kindness of human nature. He knew the facts. I asked him to please tell his friends about Falun Dafa, because I hope that everyone will understand and stop this persecution. He said that he certainly would.”
If We Are in the Fa, Master Arranges Things Properly
Kelly shared some of her experiences promoting Shen Yun and GanJing World during the “Celebrating the Moon Festival in Malaysia” event. She said that she went because her daughter wanted to participate. She said that, as her English was poor, she initially thought she would go to a fellow practitioner’s house and do her work clarifying the truth online there instead.
But the fellow practitioner’s home did not have Internet access, and the mobile phone signal was not good either. She also heard that the event was short of manpower and realized that she should follow Master’s teaching, put aside her ego, and cooperate with the whole group. She went to the event to help.
Because Malaysian ethnic groups are complex, she was worried that she would not know how to distribute materials to people of different ethnic groups. “I used my mobile phone to open Shen Yun’s official website, asked them to watch Shen Yun’s advertisements, and introduced the stories in Shen Yun’s works. They really liked it.”
She realized, “As long as you are willing to do it, it is not difficult to promote Shen Yun there, and your mind will be broadened. I had no experience promoting Shen Yun. But because I had the intention to do it, Master gave me the wisdom to do it well. The whole process was not difficult. The more I did, the happier I became.”
She also realized that if she kept up with her cultivation, she would be able to do things smoothly and get better results with less effort. Master arranges everything in in an orderly manner.
After listening to the speeches, those who attended the meeting expressed their intent to practice diligently and live up to Master’s hard work. Many practitioners were deeply moved by what they heard and often applauded warmly.
