(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Junlan Imprisoned

Ms. Li Junlan, 65, a resident of Dezhou City Development Zone, was arrested by Dezhou City police on August 31, 2023. The Dezhou City Development Zone Court and the Intermediate Court fabricated evidence and sent her to the Dezhou City Women’s Prison.

2. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Chunxia Faces Trial

Ms. Liu Chunxia lives in the Eyi District. Her case was submitted to the Lianhu District Court on October 20, 2023. Her attorney contacted the court and learned the case had not yet been assigned to a judge.

3. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Jiang Changxian Detained

Ms. Jiang Changxian, 59, was arrested and taken to the Chengnan Police Station when she was running an errand in the early morning hours of October 15, 2023. Several officers broke into her home when her husband arrived. They seized Falun Gong printouts, a computer, 420 yuan in cash, over 40 copies of Falun Gong books, cellphones, and other personal properties. She has been held in a detention center since the morning of October 17.

4. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Ms. Du Mujing Harassed

Ms. Du Mujing and her family visited her husband’s younger sister in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. On their way home on October 25, 2023, she was illegally searched by a train patrolman and the conductor.

5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Zilan Detained

Ms. Liu Zilan, a Caofeidian District resident, was tracked and arrested by officer Zhao Yang and others from the Xincheng Police Department’s newly formed Special Force Brigade on the morning of September 17, 2023, after someone reported her when she talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was handcuffed behind her back and taken to the police department. Police took her to a detention center the following afternoon. She was held there for 13 days before she was released.

6. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Jiali Arrested

Mr. Ma Jiali, 70, was arrested by officers from the Panzhuang Police Station on October 10, 2023. He has been released.

7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Aiqin Detained

Ms. Zhang Aiqin, in her 70s, was arrested by officers from the Liaohe Police Station for distributing Falun Gong flyers on October 28, 2023. She is being held in the Zhaohua Detention Center.

8. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gao Baoliang Harassed

Mr. Gao Baoliang, in his 50s, who lives in the Xifeng Village, was harassed at home by around 10 officers from the Lingcheng District Police Department on October 24, 2023. The officers ransacked his home and seized his printer and other personal items. They planned to arrest him. Because he was disabled, they finally told him any sentence would be executed outside of prison. They recently installed a camera which was pointed at his door to monitor him.

9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guihong Detained

Ms. Wang Guihong, 64, from Zhuanghe City, was taken to the Dalian Detention Center on October 28, 2023. She was detained for three days.

10. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Kou Juying and Ms. Dong Guijin Face Trial

Ms. Kou Juying, who lives in the Shilipu area, and Ms. Dong Guijin who lives in Sanqiao Town, were indicted by the Baqiao District Procuratorate at the end of July 2023. The Baqiao District Court hasn’t scheduled the trial, yet.

11. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Chunmin Detained

Ms. Yu Chunmin who lives in Zhouguan Village, Yidao Town, was arrested on the morning of October 28, 2023, after a middle school student reported her when she talked to students about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Yidao Police Station, then to the Laizhou City Detention Center that afternoon. She was detained for 10 days.
