(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 8 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

4. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Mr. Quan Jixiang Arrested and Detained
5. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Guilan Arrested and Detained
6. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fu Xinhua Placed Under Residential Surveillance Again
7. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liang Cuirong Harassed
8. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Shi Yuxia Persecuted
1. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yin Aimei Faces Trial
Ms. Yin Aimei from Baiguo Town was arrested in Macheng City on August 4, 2023 and was sent to the Huanggang City Detention Center. Her family was recently informed that she will be tried in court on December 19, 2023.
2. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] The Case Against Ms. Xia Mingjin Submitted to the Procuratorate
Ms. Xia Mingjin, 58, was arrested by officers in Qingyunpu District on September 19, 2023 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. She was sent to the No. 1 Detention Center of Nanchang City. Her case was submitted to the Xihu District Procuratorate on December 14, 2023.
3. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiong Xiulian Detained
Ms. Xiong Xiulian’s family were unable to reach her by phone on December 14, 2023. They later learned that she was taken to a detention center. Ms. Xiong was placed under criminal detention by the Huangzhou District Police Department.
4. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Mr. Quan Jixiang Arrested and Detained
Mr. Quan Jixiang, 44, from Yuanling County, was arrested by officers in Yuanling County at the end of August or early September 2023. He is currently held in the Yuanling County Detention Center.
5. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Guilan Arrested and Detained
It was recently learned that Ms. Li Guilan was arrested at home by officers from the Dongcheng Police Station for distributing truth clarification materials. She was held for 7 days in the Liaocheng City Detention House.
6. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fu Xinhua Placed Under Residential Surveillance Again
Ms. Fu Xinhua was released from the Langfang Detention Center on June 13, 2023 and was placed under residential surveillance for six months. When the term recently expired, she was put under another six month residential surveillance.
7. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liang Cuirong Harassed
Ms. Liang Cuirong, 77, was harassed at home by 15 officers on the morning of December 13, 2023. She was pressured to sign a guarantee statement. She refused. Those people threatened to arrest her if she didn’t cooperate. Ms. Liang became disoriented and passed out after the police harassed her for two hours.
8. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Shi Yuxia Persecuted
Ms. Shi Yuxia, 67, has been arrested and detained several times for more than 20 years.
Ms. Shi was arrested at home by several officers one day in June 2022. They ransacked her home and confiscated several Falun Gong books, a media player, two cell phones, and other items related to Falun Gong. Ms. Shi was taken to the police station for interrogation and was later released on bail pending trial.
Ms. Shi was harassed at home by two officers from the Jiang’an Police Station on December 4, 2023. They knocked on the door and tried to enter her home.
