(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Jinqing Tried in Court
2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Sun Fenghua and Her Husband Arrested

5. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] The Case Against Ms. Zhang Fenglian Submitted to the Procuratorate
6. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Harassed
7. [Beijing] Ms. Jiang Huiping Arrested
8. [Ningxiang City, Hunan Province] The Case Against Ms. Zhang Yulan and Ms. Li Wei Filed to the Procuratorate
9. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Wei and Ms. Li Na Arrested or Harassed
10. [Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Sun Arrested and Detained
1. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Jinqing Tried in Court
Ms. Chen Jinqing from Tianhe District was tried online by the Haizhu District Court at 10 a.m. on November 20, 2023. Her defense lawyer defended her innocence.
2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Sun Fenghua and Her Husband Arrested
Ms. Sun Fenghua and her husband from Wenjiang District were reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong and were arrested at home by officers from the Liucheng Police Station on November 26, 2023. The police ransacked their home and confiscated their truth clarifying materials, printer, computer, etc.
3. [Zaoqiang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Junmei Arrested
Ms. Wang Junmei, over 40, lives in Enlu Village, Xintun Township. She was arrested at home by officers from the Xintun Police Station on November 22, 2023. Her husband recently passed away. One of her two daughters is still in high school. Her father-in-law, who is over 70, is also in need of care.
4. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Boling and Ms. Jia Sufen Arrested
Ms. Zhang Boling and Ms. Jia Sufen from Qutou Village were reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Xin’an Market in Ba County, and were arrested. Ms. Jia Sufen has been released. Ms. Zhang Boling is still held in the Bazhou Detention Center.
5. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] The Case Against Ms. Zhang Fenglian Submitted to the Procuratorate
Ms. Zhang Fenglian from Hantai District, nearly 70, was arrested on October 22, 2023 and has been detained. Her case was submitted to the Nanzheng District Procuratorate. Her lawyer has not been able to meet with her yet.
6. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Harassed
Officers from the Yangshu Police Station in Dafangshen Town went to harass three practitioners including Ms. Chang Yafen, Ms. Ma Jinghua, and Mr. Lu Yajun, on November 22, 2023. They photographed the practitioners and pressured them to give their fingerprints.
7. [Beijing] Ms. Jiang Huiping Arrested
Ms. Jiang Huiping from Shunyi District was reported to police for talking about Falun Gong. She was arrested at home by officers from the Wangquan Police Station on November 23, 2023. Several Falun Gong books were confiscated.
8. [Ningxiang City, Hunan Province] The Case Against Ms. Zhang Yulan and Ms. Li Wei Filed to the Procuratorate
Ms. Zhang Yulan, 87, and Ms. Li Wei, 76, were arrested by officers from the Xiaduopu Police Station in April 2023 and they were released on bail pending trial. Their family received the calls from the Wangcheng District Procuratorate in October and November 2023, demanding the two practitioners go to the procuratorate and sign some documents. Now, the procuratorate staff comes to their homes and pressures them to sign the documents. The local community staff members also wanted to come to take photos of the practitioners. Ms. Li Wei left home to avoid further persecution.
9. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Wei and Ms. Li Na Arrested or Harassed
Ms. Li Wei from Zhengjia Village of Shaling Town, Panshan County, was arrested at her barber shop by four officers from the Shaling Police Station on the afternoon of November 26, 2023. They didn’t show their IDs and searched her shop. They ransacked her home, and confiscated her Falun Gong books and the photo of Falun Gong’s founder. Ms. Li Wei was taken to the police station and was placed under 10-day detention.
Ms. Li Na was harassed at her supermarket by three officers from the Shaling Police Station on the same day. She was questioned. The next morning on November 27, 2023, the two officers came back to her supermarket to harass her again.
10. [Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Sun Arrested and Detained
Ms. Sun from Puyang Town was recorded by surveillance cameras when she distributed truth-clarifying materials. She was arrested on November 22, 2023. Her home was ransacked. She was placed under 15-day detention and is held in the Dujiangyan Detention Center.
