(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Thailand held a candlelight vigil to mark the 24th anniversary of protesting the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution on July 16, 2023. Practitioners gathered in Nakhon Pathom Park, Thailand at 4 p.m.. The peaceful Dafa music drew the attention of passers-by. They wanted to learn what was Falun Gong all about.

People learn the truth about Falun Gong.
As the sun slowly set, the activity site became solemn and quiet. Practitioners lit candles in their hands to silently commemorate the Chinese Falun Gong practitioners who were tortured to death by the CCP.
Some Thais heard of Falun Gong for the first time and wanted to know more about the origin and the facts about Falun Gong. Practitioners used their personal experiences to tell people about the benefits of practicing Falun Gong, and the universal values of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. At the same time practitioners clarified the facts about the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China.
Some Thai people were surprised when they heard about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. Some expressed their wish to learn the exercises, and hoped to gain a better understanding.
