(Minghui.org) February 24, 2023, was a nice cool spring day. I went to work at a construction site in Foshan City, Guangdong Province in a happy mood, expecting it to be just a regular day.
My first job was to dissemble the scaffolding of steel pipes, each one twenty feet long, two inches in diameter, and about forty pounds. At about 9 a.m., I detached a pipe on the second floor and pushed it forward so that it would fall down on the ground. When it hit the ground, it made a loud “bang” and sent dust rolling up into the air. Suddenly, the other end of one pipe bounced back, hitting me hard on the inner left thigh. The extreme pain made me call out immediately, “Master (Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa), help, help!”
I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an ancient cultivation system that improves both mind and body.
I felt my bones get hot, and my upper body was both hot and cold. And hot and cool air rushed out of my body through my head. I kept reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I was dizzy and could hardly stand.
A coworker next to me, also a practitioner, saw what had happened and asked if I was all right.
I replied, “I will be fine” while repeating the auspicious phrases. Suddenly the feeling of dizziness disappeared, and I remembered something Master said:
“...what’s a Dafa disciple? He’s a being created by the most magnificent Fa”. (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2003 Washington, D.C. Fa Conference,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World, Volume IV)
I walked to the dormitory, sat on my bed, pulled down the bed curtains, and crossed my legs in the lotus position. I continued repeating, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
I gradually felt my bones cool down, and the hot and cool air in my upper body also disappeared. I knew Master had helped me. Deep in my heart, I said, “Thank you, Master, for saving my life.”
By 2 p.m. that afternoon when the second shift started, I had recovered and I went to work as usual. It was amazing!
